Your gym village
Your home base. Take quests from the board, gear up at the shop and train your moves with the Coach.

Roll Quests
Everything about how the game works, in plain English.
How it plays
A real adventure with a real jiu jitsu brain inside it.

Your home base. Take quests from the board, gear up at the shop and train your moves with the Coach.

Each belt is a new land with new opponents, from the snows of Whitewood Vale to the Obsidian Citadel.

Fight for position, read your opponent's tells, manage your stamina and chain moves into combos.

Losses level up your techniques and build Grit. Every defeat makes the next attempt stronger.

Battles
Guard, half guard, side control, mount, the back. Every move takes you somewhere, so you're always fighting for ground.
Opponents shift their weight or reach for a grip before they attack. React in time and you counter.
Big moves cost energy. Burn it all at once and you're stuck on the bottom.
Chain the right moves together, like frame, hip escape, recover guard, for bigger rewards.
Learn by losing
Use a move well and it ranks up. Lose a tough fight and you still walk away with extra technique XP.
Every loss to a boss adds a permanent Grit stack, so you come back a little stronger each time.
Bosses
The first bosses are built to beat you. Each loss teaches you something, and the Coach drops a hint, never the answer. Figuring them out is the fun part, just like on the mat.
The world
Every belt is a new land. Plus one island where belts don't matter at all. See the map.
White belt. Snowy villages and your very first rolls.
Blue belt. Harbor towns and a seaside arena.
Purple belt. Crystal peaks and giant mushrooms.
Brown belt. Canyons, a dark fortress and the toughest grind.
Black belt. Home of the Elite Four.
Bonus pro zone. Belt doesn't matter here, only skill.
First stop: Whitewood Vale
A few of the scenes waiting for you in the first land.

Meet the cast

A fresh white belt with a big bag and bigger dreams.

Black belt. Says little, sees everything. Gives hints, never answers.

Takedowns and top pressure. Keep him off you or get flattened.

Happy on her back. Sweeps and submissions from everywhere.
Every boss is something real people fight through on the mat. They hit hard, and they're supposed to.

All chaos, no plan. Things change fast when he's around.
Coach's hint: "Chaos hates calm."

Too proud to tap, too big to move. Most players lose to him a few times.
Coach's hint: "Big egos hate being controlled before they're attacked."
Four legends in the Obsidian Citadel, fought back to back. And after them, one last opponent who knows you better than anyone.
